The entire Proraso line has been reformulated last year and no longer contains parabens and SLS. FYI. whew, just picked up some proraso! Most, if not all, of the difference between those razors is handle style (and thus weight and weight distribution). If you've been trying to make sense of them using Amazon product pages you might prefer to have a look at Merkur's catalog (warning: PDF), which at least shows them at a relatively consistent size and angle so they're easier to compare.

Paste is a once every 3-6 weeks for 5-10 strokes maintenance that can help the edge go from needing a touchup on the stones every 6-9 months to more like 9-12 depending on how frequently you shave and how well your edge holds up. Great razor for beginners, mild and quality built with 5 pack of Wilkinson blades included which are also very good (about 10$ on Amazon, a little less in supermarkets and drugstores through Europe).
