I have an 07 Accord EX-L. About a month ago it suddenly starting dumping *hot* air (not ambient temperature) on the driver side while the passenger side blew ice cold (yes, I checked to make sure dual zone wasn’t turned on). Some factors which might set my case apart: 1. The problem went away after about an hour of highway driving.

Been a week. Have you tried setting the temp all the way to cold on one side and all the way to hot on the other? Then reverse the settings and see if the temp follows those settings from the vents on each side of the car. If not, it's still more than likely the door(s) in the blending box.
