4,639. Reaction score. 38. The stock shaft is precariously close to falling apart with a 3-inch lift. It is not very safe looking at 2-inches. So far as that goes, once you get the stock shaft out in the daylight, you will wonder how it kept the truck between the ditches at normal extension.
